Many of you already know that I spent ten wonderful years working as a professional cruise director, sailing the world aboard Princess Cruises, Celebrity Cruises, and Orient Lines. Over the course of my career, and throughout my years with Craftours, I have been fortunate to sail on more than 1,587 cruises, write several cruise travel books, and even share my love of cruising on the Travel Channel in 2024 as their featured cruise expert on Cruise Ships FAQ.

What makes this new chapter especially meaningful is the opportunity to combine my lifelong passion for cruising with the niche travel markets that have defined Craftours for more than three decades. Our cruises will be thoughtfully designed for travelers who share a love of quilting, crochet, sewing, knitting, arts and crafts, photography, and other creative pursuits. These voyages will offer not only extraordinary destinations, but also enriching onboard experiences, inspiring workshops, and the camaraderie of traveling with like-minded individuals who share your creative spirit.

I am also honored to personally be at the helm of our brand new Craftours Cruise Department. Alongside me will be a dedicated crew of talented and experienced cruise planners who will be working behind the scenes to ensure that every detail of your journey is carefully planned and seamlessly executed. From selecting exceptional ships and itineraries to coordinating exclusive onboard programming and shore experiences, our team is committed to delivering the same level of care, expertise, and personal attention you have come to expect from Craftours.

I share this with you because I am truly excited to announce the launch of this new department. We are opening the door to unforgettable ocean voyages, peaceful river cruises, and remarkable adventures on the water, all designed with the same passion, creativity, and personal touch that have made Craftours a leader in specialty travel.
