ANGELA CARTWRIGHT




Artist, actress, author, photographer, entrepreneur, curator, designer, art instructor, traveler, wife, mother and grandmother, not always in that order…



Angela was born in Cheshire, England and moved to Los Angeles, California with her family and immediately started to work as a child fashion model. Her career in front of the camera started at age three when she appeared in two movies and at age four she was cast in the role of Linda in The Danny Thomas Show for seven seasons. Other acting roles include the legendary movie The Sound of Music as Brigitta and the iconic television show Lost In Space as Penny.



She has authored eight books including Lost (and Found) In Space 2, a pictorial memoir about her years on the popular television show. The Sound of Music Family Scrapbook which offers an updated take on the beloved classic, inspired by her bond with the movie kids and their shared memorabilia.  Angela’s award-winning book Styling The Stars–Lost Treasures from the Twentieth Century Fox Archives, offering never before seen photographs and a behind the scenes exclusive glimpse inside Hollywood’s Twentieth Century Fox Studio archives. Angela has also authored several art technique books and her art is collected around the world.



Angela married her husband Steve in 1976, raised two children and thoroughly enjoys the role of Grandmother.  She has found her purpose is to love, laugh and always create.
