WALKING THE CAMINO DE SANTIAGO with JIM WEST!
"Ever since I watched the movie The Way, with Martin Sheen, I have always wanted to walk the Camino de Santiago from France to Santiago, Spain. The experience truly looks extraordinary in so many ways and on so many levels. And although I have not had the 30-40 days off work to do this, I decided to create a micro-version of this walk and go for a week. In the spring of 2022, I will be leading a small group on this journey, along with another Craftours escort, Kate Hogan, and inviting 28 people to join us. Kate has walked the entire Camino on more than one occasion, so she has firsthand knowledge of what this experience will involve and the rewards it brings once the journey is completed. It will be an experience unlike anything you have ever done, and I am looking forward to experiencing it. I hope you can join us!"

"I have had the great opportunity to walk the Camino a couple of times, and each time has been extraordinary. The history, the scenery and the culture of northern Spain is fascinating, and the people are very supportive and dear.

On this journey we will trek for just a week, instead of the 500 miles I walked. We will start in Sarria and walk relatively flat to sometimes rolling trails into Santiago. This experience will touch your soul in many ways, and there is no doubt it will become life-changing on many levels. Space is limited to 28 people only, so if you are physically, emotionally and spiritually up for the challenge, I hope you will join me!"

TESTIMONIALS FROM PAST SPAIN TRIPS:

Maureen Jones, Melbourne, FL - "A very memorable visit to Portugal. We spent time in Vila Vicosa, a small, beautiful town and in Lisbon, a large city, so we got to enjoy two vastly different parts of the country. The crafts the local artisans shared - cork, wood painting, dolls, gold restoration and sidewalk pavers were a few that I enjoyed. The passions, of the artists were passed on and it was evident their crafts were a labor of love. The local people we met were kind, friendly and helpful. The other tour members were delightful, and I thoroughly enjoyed spending days with them, and look forward to meeting them on future trips."
Nancy Chiancone, Silver Springs, MD - "Great experience! Loved the access we got to meet artisans and take part in learning their crafts."
Shelly Waite, Las Vegas, NV - “It was an amazing time with a great size group of about 22 of us. This allowed us to get to know each and everyone. We had 2 different tour guides, and both went above and beyond to make our experience awesome. The care and love both Holly and Rosie (and Vic her so helpful husband) made the experience so much more. They all did the company proud.”
Bodil Hall, Edmondton, Alberta - “My Granddaughter and I could not have had a better time, age difference was not even mentioned. We are constantly looking at our pictures and the ones that are shared by the rest of the group. The variety of things to see and do are too many to describe. I am so glad that we were able to take part. Thank you Bodil and Lisa.”
Sheri Knox, San Diego, CA - “I've never traveled alone on a group trip like this but found the other travelers to be wonderful and Rosie and Victor as hosts to be delightful. Our city-specific tour guides were outstanding! There was a perfect balance of craft-related, tourist and on-your-own time. I will definitely go on another Craftours trip with Rosie and Victor!”
Deborah Dyar, La Mesa, CA - “A wonderful time and a great group of ladies.”
Babs Behling, San Diego, CA - “The Barcelona part of the tour was my favorite. I could spend another week there at least.”
